  • The Accounts Payable Tech I is responsible for processing Product Vendor Accounts Payable accurately and timely. Tasks include:
  • Writing up and getting approval on authorization forms for short-pays and paybacks to vendors.
  • Processing returned merchandise paperwork and entering vendor credits.
  • Calculating, preparing, and processing check and wire transfer payments for prepay invoices.
  • Responding to all product vendor inquiries.
  • In order to maintain proper communication and date, the Accounts Payable Tech I logs all information in accordance with procedures including preparing required reports and performing audits as necessary. 
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education: Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Experience: Six months office experience preferred.

Physical Demands: Low physical demands required. The employee is regularly required to sit for sustained periods of time and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Other: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must be able to operate a 10 key calculator.
