A little bit about the HOM family
HOM Furniture was founded in 1973 as a small import business. Since then, the company has seen many evolutions. Remember waterbeds? Yep, we were The Waterbed Room. From focusing on oak and leather pieces to bedroom furniture, HOM Furniture has grown into the one-stop home furnishings, mattress and décor store that it is today. Still, some things stay the same. We value quality products. We strive to provide the best customer experience in the industry. We're also still a family run business. One that really, actually feels like a family, values its employees and supports career development.
HOM has been ranked as one of the top 50 largest furniture retailers in the U.S. since 2001. We currently have 17 showrooms in the upper Midwestern states, including our headquarters and main distribution center in Coon Rapids, MN, and seven other showrooms in the Twin Cities metro area. Our family also stretches throughout Minnesota, as well as our neighboring states of Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
