Responsibilities
- The Commercial Flooring Specialist is responsible for planning flooring projects within the constraints of the client. This includes contacting key members of the project team including architects, property managers, and purchasing agents to provide them with information on products and services.
- In order to grow the Commercial Flooring department, the Commercial Flooring Specialist attends events such as chamber of commerce and BNI meetings to pursue networking opportunities. They must demonstrate strong selling skills as they seek commercial projects and research companies for HOM Furniture.
- The Commercial Flooring Specialist supports company standards by meeting agreed upon goals, objections, and selling skills.
- The Commercial Flooring Specialist must have strong communication skills and attention to detail as they are the contact for various members of the project.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Experience: Two to five years of related experience preferred.
Physical Demands: Low physical demands required. The employee is regularly required to sit for sustained periods of time and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Other: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Proficient computer skills preferred and well as the ability to read and understand construction blueprints.
