Responsibilities


  • The Project Coordinator is responsible for processing flooring orders in an accurate, timely and professional manner.
  • In order to maintain efficient timelines, the Project Coordinator must work with sales associates and estimators to ensure projects are completed as scheduled, orders are accurately processed, and final balances are collected.
  • The Project Coordinator must ensure that company policies regarding deposits, payments, and returns are followed consistently.
  • Maintains vendor relationships and resources to ensure prompt and accurate ordering and receiving.
  • The Project Coordinator assists the Operations Manager by monitoring Installers and Estimators to ensure that they fully meet customer expectations and ensuring proper finalization of customer experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma/GED required.


Experience: At least 1 year of experience within the flooring industry as a project coordinator is preferred.

Physical Demands: Low physical demands required. The employee is regularly required to sit for sustained periods of time and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.


Other: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must be able to work in a warehouse environment on a consistent basis and may occasionally be exposed to outside environments.
