ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
MEETING ALL OF THE STANDARDS AND EXPECTATIONS OF A FULL TIME SALES PROFESSIONAL
Sales Leads will be proficient and drive the following activities in our showroom.
1. Engaging with customers
2. Give an effective 15 - 30 second presentation of your department/showroom - commercials/presentation
3. Product presentations
4. Add on sales and closing strategies
5. Collecting prospect information
6. Sending professional prospect thank you notes
7. Follow up phone calls with prospects
8. Events follow up phone calls and messages
9. Sending thank you notes to sold orders
10. Sales training for rugs
11. Rug Guard presentations and sales
12. Coordinate training with buyers/reps
13. Special order accuracy
14. Ensures inventory accuracy and is involved with showroom cycle scans.
15. Orders rugs,rug pads and cleaning kits as needed. Responsible for keeping racks full.
16. Engages customers through periodical seminars held in the showroom.
17. Participates in house calls with designers if needed.
Oversee the completion of pricing for assigned department. Including new items, price revisions, and items from the X and D report. Basic computer knowledge & skills. Completes invoices and processes payments for purchases. Oversee the completion of quarterly inventories for assigned departments. Basic computer knowledge & skills. Train and educate department employees on new products hitting the floor. Ensure that all samples, catalogs, and price lists are updated Support company standards Behavioral requirements include: Show communication skills, have the ability to complete tasks. Must be able to demonstrate decision making and problem solving. Give feedback to management on progress made toward goals and budgets. Adheres to safe lifting techniques, follows proper training for learned job hazards and ergonomic risk factors, participates in departmental stretching program, and overall maintains a safe working environment.
