Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SALES BEHAVIORS
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience by working with all customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Effective Communication between customers and other employees
- Provide all customers with after sale service
- Consistently demonstrate professional sales skills using the company’s proven sales method
- Track prospective customers and follow up with the customer when new products or promotions arise that meet their needs.
- Responsible for staying informed on all new and existing product lines
- Submit timely and accurate sales reports as directed by manager
- Self starter, highly motivated to achieve successful results
- Embrace change and demonstrate a positive mental attitude
- Maintaining high accuracy with writing invoices, special orders and customer follow up.
- Perform non-selling activities, such as: price product for promotional events, regular maintenance of price cards, maintain cleanliness in all areas of the showroom (ie. light dusting and vacuuming).
Requires skills to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Need to be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written format.
Mathematical aptitude to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Also requires skills to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and the ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Need to be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
