This position also organizes guest satisfaction, optimized schedules, task lists, product flow, accurate inventory control, to provide ultimate quality control.   The Sales Operations Supervisor will also direct warehouse, visual and guest services activities for organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, customer service, delivery, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
  • Plan and develop operational procedures and policies for handling the departmental requirements.
  • Staff schedule maintenance for Guest services/CES/Physical and Visual staff.
  • Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment on a regular basis
  • Assigns tasks lists to team subordinates for optimal flow of operational tasks.
  • Confers with showroom manager to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as guest services, sales, inventory, transfer/receiving/shipping process, showroom display  floor and clearance area.
  • MIA damaged product as needed, responsible for charging back vendor on items received damaged.
  • Participates in planning personnel safety  protection activities.
  • Performs various duties as directed by Showroom Manager.
  • Adheres to safe lifting techniques, follows proper training for learned job hazards and ergonomic risk factors, participates in departmental stretching program, and overall maintains a safe working environment.
Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Must effectively demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written format.


Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities

Manages subordinate supervisors/leads who supervise a total of 14 to 20 employees in the warehouse, guest services, and visual merchandising departments. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include scheduling employees, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations safety vision and goals. Safety responsibilities include communicating the shared safety vision with the department, being accountable in the safety policies that have been defined, holding employees accountable in the expectation of safely practicing their job functions on a daily basis, promoting a safe work environment through incentives, etc. and taking timely action to correct unsafe actions.
