Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming customer service calls and resolve all questions, requests and changes to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Schedule deliveries, pick-ups, and service technician appointments
  • Look up customer accounts, provide detailed notes, and communicate accurate and precise information
  • Write sales and take payments on customer invoices
  • Effectively navigate internal inventory and purchase order screens
  • Provide on the road support for delivery personnel and in home service technicians 
  • Call on outbound customer reports
  • Assist customers with the initial set-up of HOM Guard warranty claims 
  • Meet and/ or exceed all performance and attendance standards
  • Work and communicate cross functionally on improvements to current systems, policies, and procedures to enhance customer experience
  • Have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced working environment
  • Complete all other work or projects as assigned by management

Education and/or Experience
Must have or be currently working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training.
Language Skills
Require skills to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Possess skills to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written format.
Mathematical Skills
Mathematical aptitude to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Also requires skills to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and the ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data or figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, and using measurement devices.

Reasoning Ability
Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
