                                Do you have a passion for customer service?  Are you results driven, customer focused, and have a positive attitude?  If this sounds like you, then the position of Online Sales & Support Coordinator for HOM Furniture may be just the position for you!  The primary responsibility of an Online Sales & Support Coordinator is to assist web based customers, via our online chat program and other platforms, with sales and service inquiries while providing unparalleled customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist online customers with product and service related questions
  • Timely responsiveness to new customer chat
  • Maintain availability for customer inquiries
  • Responsible for overall service rating
  • Schedule deliveries, pick-ups, and technician appointments as needed
  • Write sales invoices and take payments to customer accounts
  • Quote accurate prices and credit terms
  • Answer questions regarding finance applications
  • Enter detailed notes on customer accounts
  • Open service orders and follow up on warranty questions
  • Make outbound phone calls
  • Interact with other departments as necessary to resolve problems and improve existing procedures
  • Accounting, problem solving, and communication skills
Education and/or Experience

Must have or be currently working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 year of related experience and/or training.

Language Skills

                Requires skills to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Possess skills to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.  Demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written form.

Mathematical Skills

Mathematical aptitude to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Also requires skills to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and the ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

                Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
