If this sounds like something that interests you, then the position of Rug Porter for HOM Furniture may be just the job for you!! The main responsibility of the Rug Porter is to maintain WORLD RUGS department's appearance. One would make sure to hang rugs on rug arms and flipping through rug piles, along with general maintenance of the department. This position also helps customers carry out purchased items and returned items. Candidate must accurately receive, send and transfer merchandise in a timely manner.

Must have or be currently working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data or figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, and using measurement devices.
